After 5 repairmen from the company who installed my AC did nothing to fix my AC which was leaking into my ceilings, the restoration company suggested I call 3B. It was not an easy fix, but Al found and repaired the problems. It required a few service calls to complete, but my AC is now working as it should! Al came early and stayed late, returned to check on things over the weekend and made sure all was working well. The cost, which could have been quite high, was very reasonable. He was much more knowledgeable than the company repairmen from whom I originally bought the unit. It is his own company, and he really does know what he’s doing!! I appreciated his honesty and his work ethic.

Our Story: Why We Started 3B Heating & Air

Brothers Ray, Al, and Frank founded 3B Heating & Air in Wesley Chapel in 2025. Together, we bring 20+ years of combined experience.

Before starting 3B, we kept seeing the same problems across Tampa Bay. Homeowners waited on technicians who arrived late. They received quotes that changed once the work began. Some technicians left without explaining what they found or what they fixed.

We knew customers deserved better. So we built 3B to be the company we would want to call for our own homes.

What the "3B" Name Means

The name stands for three brothers. It also stands for one family business with a simple idea: treat every customer's home as if it belonged to our own family.

That idea shapes every job. You will not get a revolving door of technicians. You get the owners, who put their name on every job and personally answer for it.

Meet the Owners

Fayek ‘Frank’ Zaman, Co-Owner

3B Heating & Air holds Florida Certified Mechanical Contractor license CMC1251785, issued by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation's Construction Industry Licensing Board. Frank is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of South Florida and brings 4 years of HVAC experience.

Frank's engineering background helps him understand complex mechanical systems. He looks at how airflow, refrigerant, and electrical components work together, so he finds the real cause of a problem instead of treating the symptom.

Al (Renu) Tajhar, Co-Owner

Al brings 7 years of HVAC experience, and 3B Heating & Air holds EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling. He organizes and manages projects and fieldwork, keeping installations on schedule and customers informed.

Al takes real satisfaction in troubleshooting a failing system and bringing it back to life. Customers notice that care, and several of our Google reviews mention Al by name for his fast, thorough, and polite service.

Every service call follows the same four steps, so you always know what comes next.

Show Up and Inspect. We arrive on time, inspect your equipment, and diagnose the issue.
Explain and Quote. We explain what we found in plain terms and give you an upfront, flat-rate price before any work begins.
Service or Install. We complete the repair or installation right the first time.
Verify and Stand Behind It. We review the work with you, show you how to keep your system running longer, and back the job with our warranty.

We handle residential HVAC and light commercial systems up to 25 tons, including doctors' offices, retail storefronts, and gas stations.

AC repair: Motor, coil, and compressor replacements, plus diagnosis of freezing, leaking, and failing units
AC installation and replacement: New system changeouts and installations sized to your property
Heating services: Heat pump, furnace, and thermostat installation, repair, and maintenance
Preventive maintenance: Spring and fall tune-ups through our Comfort Membership plans
Indoor air quality: Air handlers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, UV lights, and electronic filter boxes
Ductless mini-splits and zone control systems: Room-by-room comfort for homes and additions
Light commercial HVAC: Repair, maintenance, and system replacement

We service all major HVAC brands and install most leading brands, including Bryant.

Pricing, Warranties, and Financing

Honest, Flat-Rate Pricing

Every service uses flat-rate pricing, so the price we quote is the price you pay. Our diagnostic fee is $79, and we waive it when you approve the repair. Estimates for new systems are free.

We will also beat any written quote from a licensed HVAC company. Just show us the quote.

Warranty Coverage

New systems include a 1-year labor warranty, which you can extend up to 10 years on request. Every new system we install also carries a standard 10-year manufacturer parts warranty.

Financing Options

Financing is available through Synchrony, FTL, and HFS. Available plans and terms depend on credit approval by the lender.

Comfort Membership Plans

Our maintenance plans include two visits per year, in spring and fall, to keep your system efficient and catch small problems early.
